From the mountains of rural China to the heart of London, join the RA in creating an incredible piece of public art with Ai Weiwei.

I recently had the opportunity to go to the Members Only viewing of the new exhibition at the Royal Academy in Piccadilly, which showcases  Ai Weiwei's art. To read my review click here: Ai WeiWei Retrospective Review. To view the photos I took whilst I visited, just keep on reading!

My Visit to the Royal Academy: Ai Weiwei Exhibition

If you are in London, do go and visit the Royal Academy and definitely invest an hour or so of your day to explore Ai Weiwei's artworks. Not only is it displayed in a way that reveals a timeline of Weiwei's fascinating journey, but it is also memorable through the materials used and the way in which it has been curated. The audio visual guides are a must have as they provide so much context and factual information behind not only the process of creating the exhibition but also about the life of Ai Weiwei; without the tools provided, you would not walk away with the same sense of admiration towards the artist.

Here are two links for more information on the artworks:

Do let me know if you visit and share your thoughts! Exhibition Review also up on my blog (linked at beginning of this post). Exhibition runs from 19th September-13th December.
